A Day Like Any Other

Thursday – a day like any other, except that it is only one day away from the weekend. Ah, the weekend! A time to relax. Just like last weekend, I have all my plans set. Unlike last weekend, my plans involve an extra pillow on the couch and fresh batteries in the remote. It’s gonna be great!
My body is fully recovered now from the tortures of the last weekend, and strictly speaking I am ready to do it all again. But this is time for a little rest, and time for Lorie and I to spend some time together.
I just need to get through that last day of work!
