I made a trip to Tsiigehtchic today. Enroute I encountered some British magazine writers who were making a trip to Tuk in Jeeps. They were doing some vehicle testing and some exploring at the same time. There’s a lot of this up here. The extreme climate attracts all sorts of adventurers. In fact it is one of the basic common attributes of people who come here, or of people who live here is adventurism. One gets used to it rather quickly.

We are still short a couple of snowmobiles in this household, and the deficit is getting a little more painful each day. There are more and more snowmobiles on the go around town now that the temperatures are warming up, and that almost makes the want become a need. Oh well! Maybe next year!

Cheers!
