Welcome to Inuvik Journal! Happy to have you! I hope as many of you will find this one as interesting as my other Blog. Here are the promises I will make to you. I won’t make this blog a showcase of what I can do with my web development skills. I won’t pollute this Blog with cheap graphics or gimmicks. I will keep this Blog simple and sleek, and honest to a fault. If I’m feeling bad, or good, or apathetic, I’ll write that way. I won’t be afraid to tackle topics that may be controversial, but I will keep it clean. And I will do my best to post every single day (although some posts may be late from time-to-time, especially if I am busy adventuring).

That said, if you have any thing to say, say it. You are invited to comment as often as you like, about whatever you like. I will only edit the comments in the event of hatefulness, racism, or spam.

I had planned to start off by discussing how cold it was and how tough one would have to be to live here, but it turns out that it is probably warmer here than it is in most of the rest of Canada! No one here can quite believe it. A sweatshirt was all one needed today.

I am planning a snowmobile trip on Saturday. I don’t know yet if my plans will pan out, but if they don’t, then the snowmobile trip will quickly get changed to a snowshoe trip. In any event, I will be taking a few pictures. The best will be posted here.
